Scenery along the Lower Loop Drive at Yellowstone

There was some lovely scenery along the upper loop of Yellowstone, and here are just a few images I collected along the way!

In this image, as we drove along, we noticed some steam that seemed to come out from among the pine trees.  We pulled off onto one of the many pull outs they have along the roads, and I grabbed this shot.

Then, I walked just a bit over and noticed the great reflection of the sky and trees in a little pond just off the lake and couldn’t resist capturing it!

What a beautiful spot we found to have a picnic lunch!  This small creek was just off the main loop road, but when we sat beside it, it felt like we were a million miles away from everything!
Enjoy!
